about

“Tip Toe” a Dark Revelation of Industrial Complexity

It seems the payoff is for the listener as Andy Powder slips deeper into his own paranoia. The dark reality of his brain comes to full fruition in his latest album, “Tip Toe”. The name alone is enough to make you question his intentions, as he rips through industrial guitar riffs that literally make the hair on your neck stand.

At first listen you will feel a strange eagerness come over you, whether the urge is to escape or indulge is fully up to you, the listener. This album dives deep into the psyche of a deranged lunatic and before you press play; understand this next 30 minutes will change you, forever.

Tip Toe starts with a screaming guitar, seemingly begging for the mercy of Powder as he bends the strings into submission. As the vocals start you can feel the full intentions of his latest masterpiece. An auditory hallucination meant to make you question your existence. Powder seems to be able to access your thoughts as the songs continue, he buries himself deep into your frontal lobe with riffs that seem to burn their way into your thoughts, and lyrics that make you stop and go, “what did he just say?!”.

There are hints of his musical history throughout, from the drum machine echoing maniacally in and out of the speakers, to the unfathomable guitar solos. His vocals add a texture of grit and grime we haven’t seen with Powder, put simply; this is the best full work he has ever done. As you listen you can feel the tension building, with each song you feel a sense of rage burning inside of him, and you can almost feel the stroke of every string on the guitar as it hits octaves sure to rattle your inner sociopath. By the end of this album, I thought I was bound for prison for a crime I committed in my own mind.
This album isn’t just something to throw on and listen to, this is something to make you change the way you live, change the way you hear music, and change the way you “Tip Toe” through your life. In short you need this, and if you love Andy Powder you NEED this.
